Doctors

Dr. Lucretia Greear, DVM, CVA

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Greear is the lead veterinarian and owner of Woodhaven Animal Hospital. She specializes in holistic and integrative treatments and has an extensive background working with cancer patients. Her approach to care is rooted in compassion, individualized medicine, and a deep respect for animals who cannot speak for themselves.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Greear studied veterinary medicine at Michigan State University. Opening and running her own practice has been a long-standing passion, driven by her desire to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Greear is married and the proud mother of four wonderfully energetic boys, all heavily involved in sports. When she’s not practicing veterinary medicine, you’ll likely find her being that sports mom- cheering loudly from the sidelines. At home, her animal family includes dogs, reptiles, chickens (yes, chickens), and bunnies.

Dr. Eric Mann, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Eric Mann graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and brings extensive experience in small animal medicine to Woodhaven Animal Hospital. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of clinical settings as both an associate veterinarian and a former clinic owner, giving him a broad and practical perspective on patient care.

Dr. Mann joined Woodhaven Animal Hospital part-time in 2021 before transitioning to a full-time role. In 2025, he earned his Certified Companion Animal Therapist (CCAT) certification through Northeastern Seminars and NC State University. He is committed to continuing education and is passionate about advancing his clinical skills to provide the highest level of care for his patients.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Mann enjoys training with his children for Tough Mudder and Spartan races, sharing his love of fitness, challenge, and teamwork with his family.

Dr. Patricia Odette, DC

Veterinary Chiropractor

Dr. Odette has been a chiropractor for over 37 years and is trained in Veterinary Orthopedic  Manipulation. As both a veterinary and human chiropractor, she brings an extensive and deeply rooted understanding of spinal-related disorders and musculoskeletal health across species.

She is a strong advocate for conservative, non-invasive care and believes many conditions can be effectively treated without drugs or surgery. Her work reflects a commitment to restoring function, improving mobility, and supporting overall wellness through thoughtful, hands-on care.

Dr. Odette has long been a respected voice in the animal rescue community and is deeply involved in local civic life. She resides in Woodhaven with her rescues and proudly serves the community as the Mayor of the City of Woodhaven.

Dr. Emily Bondar, DC

Veterinary Chiropractor

Dr. Emily Bondar is trained in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation and brings a well-rounded, integrative approach to care. As a veterinary chiropractor, human chiropractor, and licensed massage therapist, she has extensive experience treating spinal and soft-tissue–related disorders and conditions.

Dr. Emily studied chiropractic medicine at Life University in Georgia and now resides in Southgate. She has always been passionate about holistic care for both animals and humans, and chiropractic proved to be the perfect blend of science, hands-on healing, and whole-body wellness.

Tony Greear

Owner / HR

Tony Greear plays a vital role at Woodhaven Animal Hospital, overseeing human resources and supporting the hospital’s operational needs. He is deeply committed to the team and works behind the scenes to ensure staff are supported, policies are upheld, and the practice runs smoothly.

Known for his willingness to step in wherever help is needed, Tony is a true team player who contributes across departments to support both staff and daily operations. His steady presence and dedication help create a strong, dependable foundation for the hospital.

Outside of work, Tony enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and watching football.

Nina

Media Producer

Nina manages and edits the social media platforms for Woodhaven Animal Hospital, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. She records and produces content featuring patients and the veterinary team, creates informational materials for clients, and develops engaging posts that highlight the hospital’s services. She also helps host weekly live streams with Dr. Greear, where they share general pet health education and connect with the community. Through the content she produces, Nina focuses on showcasing the culture of Woodhaven Animal Hospital, believing that great veterinary care goes beyond medicine—it’s also about the dedicated team behind the scenes who care for every animal.

Veterinary Nurse

Melissa A.

Licensed Veterinary Nurse

Melissa has been a licensed veterinary nurse for over 25 years and has worked closely with Dr. Greear for much of her career. Her depth of experience, clinical judgment, and steady leadership make her an essential part of the Woodhaven Animal Hospital team.

Melissa serves as the lead for nurse appointments and oversees the care of hospitalized patients. In this role, she ensures continuity of care, close monitoring, and clear communication for patients requiring ongoing treatment, while supporting the nursing team with guidance and expertise.

Outside of the hospital, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, her three children, and her two dogs. She loves camping, gardening, and tending to her honeybees—proof that nurturing comes naturally to her both professionally and personally.

Jessica

Licensed Veterinary Nurse

Jessica has been a veterinary nurse for over 25 years and brings skill, dedication, and calm confidence to every patient she cares for. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, she has developed a special passion for surgery, dental procedures, and stem cell therapy. Much of her work at Woodhaven Animal Hospital takes place in the surgery suite, where her experience and attention to detail truly shine.

Outside of work, Jessica and her husband share their home with two gentle giant Newfoundlands, Ness and Brick, along with their sassy bulldogs, Ivy and London—who may even make a guest appearance during your visit. When she’s not at the hospital, Jessica enjoys gardening and spending time in northern Michigan with family and friends.

Lea H.

Licensed Veterinary Nurse

Lea Hatchett is a licensed veterinary technician at Woodhaven Animal Hospital. She graduated from veterinary technician school in 2015 and earned her Certified Companion Animal Therapist (CCAT) credential in August 2025. Lea is dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care to her patients while supporting their owners through every stage of their pets’ health and recovery.

Lea has a strong passion for continuing education and is committed to staying current with advancements in veterinary medicine to ensure the highest quality care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, staying active, camping, and reading. At home, Lea shares her life with five dogs, four cats, and a tortoise.

Hyperbaric Operator

Sam B.

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Sam is a veterinary nurse assistant and is specially trained to operate Woodhaven Animal Hospital’s hyperbaric oxygen chamber. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and serves as the hospital’s primary Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chamber operator, ensuring treatments are performed safely, accurately, and with close patient monitoring.

Sam shares her home with two dogs and two cats. When she’s not at the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her animals and being outdoors whenever she can.

Dental Hygienist

Colleen T.

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Colleen has dedicated her entire 30-year career to working with animals, including more than 25 years specializing in veterinary dental care. Her depth of experience and gentle approach make her a valued lifetime member of the Woodhaven Animal Hospital team, particularly in supporting dental procedures and patient comfort.

Outside of the hospital, Colleen enjoys spending time at home with her two dogs and one cat.
She loves gardening and finds joy in caring for both her plants and her pets.

Veterinary Nurse Assistants

Julia F.

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Julia is a veterinary assistant who has always had a deep love for animals. She is the founder of Chaucer’s Place, a senior and hospice cat rescue dedicated to providing compassionate care for cats in their later stages of life.

When she’s not at the hospital, Julia spends most of her time at home with her husband and her many beloved cats, continuing her mission of giving animals comfort, dignity, and love.

Jordynn P.

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Jordynn is a veterinary assistant with a deep love for animals and a strong appreciation for the bond they share with their people. She finds fulfillment in advocating for patients who cannot speak for themselves and has a special interest in advanced diagnostic tools, including thermal imaging.

Outside of work, Jordynn enjoys photography, spending time outdoors, and being with her pets and family.

Olivia

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Olivia has been involved in veterinary medicine since the age of 14, building a strong foundation through hands-on experience and a dedication to continual learning. She is passionate about patient care and advocacy and plans to pursue veterinary school to further her education and help animals of all kinds.

In her spare time, Olivia enjoys the outdoors, finding balance through hiking and new adventures. At home, she spends time caring for her pets, tending to her houseplant collection, and exploring her creativity through arts and crafts.

Charlotte

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Charlotte has been a veterinary assistant since 2018 and has a strong passion for learning and growing in the field of veterinary medicine. She especially enjoys expanding her knowledge to better help animals and educate clients so they feel confident and informed about their pets’ care.

Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends, including her significant other. At home, she shares her life with her dog, Reilly, and her two cats, Flynn and Gracie.

Salina

Veterinary Nurse Assistant

Salina has loved working with animals from a young age and has always felt drawn to caring for others. She began her career in human medicine as a nurse, but quickly realized her heart was truly in veterinary medicine. She is currently attending Penn Foster and is working toward her Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential, which she expects to complete in 2026.

Salina is passionate about learning and looks forward to continuing her education with a special interest in advanced imaging, including radiology and ultrasound. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, traveling, and being outdoors in nature.

Laura D.

Customer Service Representative

Laura is one of the friendly voices you’ll hear when you call Woodhaven Animal Hospital. She has over 25 years of experience working in veterinary hospitals and has worked side-by-side with Dr. Greear for many years. Laura truly enjoys working with both people and animals and takes pride in helping clients feel supported and cared for.

Laura is married and has a daughter. She shares her home with her two French Bulldogs, Lincoln and Queso—one (or both!) of whom may greet you as soon as you walk through the door. In her spare time, Laura enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her family.

Amy M.

Customer Service Representative

As a receptionist, Amy is one of the first people you’ll see when you walk into Woodhaven Animal Hospital. With over 20 years of experience in customer service, she is always eager to help and takes pride in making every client feel welcomed and supported. Her passion for helping animals is what makes Woodhaven feel like a second home.

Beyond the front desk, Amy is cross-trained to help with technician appointments and assist during chiropractic days with Dr. Emily. She enjoys being able to support patient care in multiple areas of the hospital and is always willing to lend a hand.

Christina

Customer Service Representative

Christina has worked in veterinary medicine for over three years and enjoys helping solve problems while supporting both patients and clients. She values learning, teamwork, and providing compassionate care, and hopes to continue growing and developing her skills in the field of veterinary medicine.

Outside of work, Christina loves caring for her houseplants and spending time with her six animals—four cats and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys getting tattooed, hiking, swimming, and traveling.

Jade

CSR, ACS, VNA

Jade plays a versatile role at Woodhaven Animal Hospital, working both at the front desk and in the treatment area to support patients, clients, and the veterinary team. She shares a deep passion for animals and finds fulfillment in helping those who do not have a voice of their own.

Outside of work, Jade enjoys practicing yoga and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her French Bulldog.

Caleb G.

Information Technology

Caleb ensures that Woodhaven Animal Hospital’s technology and systems run flawlessly, allowing the veterinary team to focus on what matters most—caring for patients. His behind-the-scenes support plays a key role in keeping daily operations efficient, connected, and dependable.

Caleb is currently studying business management at the University of Toledo while also pursuing his licensure to become a veterinary technician. This dual path allows him to support Woodhaven both operationally and clinically, bridging technology, business, and hands-on patient care to help enhance the overall quality of service the hospital provides.

Animal Care Specialists

Shelby

ACS, VNA

Shelby is an Animal Care Specialist at Woodhaven Animal Hospital and consistently does an excellent job supporting patient care and daily hospital flow. She is currently an online student at Arizona State University, working toward her bachelor’s degree in Applied Biological Sciences with a focus in Pre-Veterinary Medicine.

Shelby’s long-term goal is to attend veterinary school and become a specialized veterinarian in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Outside of work and school, she enjoys taking her dog for rides and watching Formula 1.
